Steelworkers Solidarity Bus Trip

United Steelworkers Local 675 is taking solidarity on the road.  We’ve organized a “turnaround trip” to Las Vegas with two stops:

At our first stop, we’ll be showing our solidarity with locked out Rio Tinto Mine Workers from Boron, CA, at a rally and picket at the British Consulate in Los Angeles

The second stop, in Las Vegas, will be in support of members of our Local who have been working without a contract for two years!  Workers at the Aquarius Hotel and Casino in Laughlin, Nevada, have gone without a raise for over two years!  We’ll be helping these workers let the Aquarius’ parent company, Goldman Sachs, know that they’re ready to do what it takes!  This rally will kick off the workers’ 100 mile march to Laughlin with the slogan, “Let’s bring Las Vegas wages to Laughlin now!”
