Today we held two rallies in conjunction with the NOBP National Day of Action. We had two great rallies held at Tesoro Carson and Phillips 66 Wilmington. We held a lunch time rally at Tesoro Carson and showed very strong solidarity to the company!
We had a kick off rally at our Tesoro Carson Unit to get ready and prepare for NOBP. Not only that, we wanted to let Tesoro know to not take away our holidays! It was a great rally, we held our executive board meeting in front of the plant to be in solidarity with our brothers and sisters at Tesoro Carson.

Pittsburgh— United Steelworkers (USW) members attending the National Oil Bargaining conference here this week developed bargaining proposals that will go to the oil membership for a vote before they become the union’s national bargaining policy. Delegates also passed unanimously a resolution to form a committee that will put together a supplemental strike fund to support oil locals and units in addition to the International union’s substantial strike and defense fund.
