USW Local 675 Texas Hold 'Em Poker Tournament

Sisters and brothers we will be having a Poker Tournament/Fundraiser on May 14th and June 18th. We will be holding it at our Carson Hall located @ 1200 E. 220th St. Carson, CA. 90745. There is a $100.00 Buy in.

1st Place wins- 25% of pot
2nd Place wins- 15% of pot
3rd Place wins- 10% of pot

Labor Community Services Annual Food Drive

Sisters and brothers, on May 14th Labor Community Services will be having their Annual Letter Carriers Food Drive. They need volunteers to help unload the food from the trucks coming in from over 20 post office sites. Our local will have a post office site specifically for us in West Los Angeles.

One Year Anniversary of the Tesoro Carson Strike

Today marks the one year anniversary to the end of the 2015 strike at Tesoro Carson.

We want to thank our members at Tesoro Carson for staying in the fight for 50 days, and lasting one day longer than Tesoro. We stood up and we fought back. 
It was a difficult fight, but you all showed such strength and we thank you for fighting the good fight.
